Henry’s snake skin

A story from the Sage classroom:

Henry brought a snake skin. He got it from his neighbor. It is kind of like a rope because it is long. It is longer than Lena. It looks slippery but it is not when it is alive. Snakes squiggle. They have scales on their body to move. A snake is a vertebrate like a bunny. A snake is a reptile. Snakes are longer than tables. Airplanes are bigger than snakes. The snake skin is as long as the number rod of 10 and the number rod of 7 and the first 4 pink tower cubes. The outside of the snakeskin is plastic-y and rough.
