Lavender
The kindergarteners had a meeting with Emmy this afternoon and we came up with a lot of new ideas for our classroom. We talked about ways to help the younger children. Jillian was here today because Kimberley was at the doctor. Some children went on a walk this afternoon and saw a black cat. He let us pet him and he smelled our hands. There was also a squirrel making sounds like a bird.
Sage
The bikes were not available. We listened to Pete Seeger at lunch. We finished “Mr. Popper’s Penguins.” Holland and Mark were not here. We read “When we Go Walking” by Cari Best. We played “Name that tune.” We danced on the line to Rachmaninoff. Some of the music was slow and some of the music was fast.
