Early Care starts as early as 7:30 am and ends when staff bring children to class
After Care 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Early Care and/or After Care are available to enrolled families who sign up for these options. With 24 hours notice, drop-in may be available for 10/hr, depending on the student to teacher ratio.
These times of day follows familiar guidelines and routines as in the classroom. Children are choosing projects independently, coupled with ample outside time, and enjoy their own pace in the company of others. Drop off and pick up take place at the North Building Clubroom (North side of Knapp St) or the North Building playground (Ogden St). Early Care welcomes children as early as 7:30 and ends as staff escort learners to their classrooms. Children often bring breakfast from home. Early Care is open to a limited number of children.
After Care begins at 3:00 and is available until as late as 5:30 p.m. A school-provided snack is served during this time. After Care children participating in enrichment programs are escorted by support staff.
