One from the vault

From the Sage journal

Today is Friday February 18, 2011.

2 drinking glasses and a lunch plate broke today. All the Friday children were here today. Caitlyn was absent. We turned off the lights at lunch. Today, instead of reading The Magic Treehouse we read about George Washington. He was in the army. The army that he was in was in the Revolutionary War. He wasn’t good at winning fights in the army. He was really good at leaving the men. Four bullets got shot in his uniform. We are going to have 3 at home days because Monday is a holiday for George Washington. He had teeth made out of elephant tusks.

-The End-

Another year gone by

The 2010-2011 school year is almost done. We have had such an amazing year, filled with so much community support. We will miss the children that are moving on but hope that we will hear from them as they move on to new schools and new adventures.
