Alejandro’s magic show

Thursday afternoon in the Sage classroom Alejandro showed off some of his magic tricks . There was no shortage of hearing the children in the audience say things like, “I can’t BELIEVE it!” or “How did he do that?!” with nothing but amazement in their voices. The adults had an equally wonderful time.

The disappearing coin!
The enraptured audience.

Mind reading!
Thank you Alejandro for sharing your talent.

4th annual fish walk

What an awesome day! We came home with some new fish and plants for our fish tanks. We also saw Finn and his mom Jennifer at Berkeley Park. Finn will start in the Lavender classroom soon. We stayed cool with misters, many water and berry breaks, and a steady, slow pace.

A great Podcast on Montessori

AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) President André Roberfroid was the guest of Krys Boyd on “Think”

on NPR today. André talked about the history, philosophy, and practices in the Montessori classroom. He also answered questions from callers. It is well worth the 48 minute listen.
