For the past 6 years, the 3rd year children have taken a walk to the local pet store to pick up supplies for each classroom’s fish tank. This year we visited Animal Crossing NW on 46th & Woodstock.
Some highlights:
*pretzels, vegetables & chips on a neighbor’s lawn
*spray bottles to cool down
*the animals in the pet store, especially the friendly cats
*the big sunflowers, pumpkins, squash, tomatoes, and dahlias we saw growing around the neighborhood
*a picnic lunch under a shady tree
*our post lunch stretch led by Al’s dad, Tony
*arriving back at Puddletown, tired, excited and ready for a relaxing afternoon
