The Lavender Kindergarten Exhibit

Yesterday the Lavender classroom hosted a semi-formal affair. The children who are graduating and moving on to first grade exhibited some of their finest work. There was homemade snacks, beautiful flowers, and plenty of socializing. It was a great event. Thank you to all to joined us!IMG_0557 True serving some sliced bananas.IMG_0554 The excited and dressed up crowd.

Rocks!

Yesterday Kai’s grandpa, Earl, came to Puddletown with his marvelous collection of rocks. He shared fossils, geodes, petrified wood, and more. We heard about where he and his family found some of the rocks and learned that the geode, also known as a thunder egg, is the Oregon state rock. At the end of his visit, he gave us 2 big bins of rocks to keep at Puddletown. Many hugs were exchanged. Thanks Earl!!photo-2 photo-3 photo-4 photo-7 photo
