Today we were lucky enough to have a visit from Tim of the Audubon Society of Portland. He brought many different parts from birds of prey for us to look at and touch. We passed around wings, talons, tails, and feathers from many different birds that live in Oregon. We also watched a slide show and saw a golden eagle that has been dead for 60 years.
Finally we met Julio. She is a great horned owl that lives at the Audubon Society. We had to be really calm while she was out of her cage.

It was super exciting!
Thanks Tim and the Audubon Society!
