Depending on your child’s classroom, outside time and lunch time may be reversed.

8:20–8:30 a.m. Arrival time. Children arrive, wash hands, and put their lunches and other things on their hooks.

8:30–11:30 a.m. Work time. During work time, children are working independently or in pairs while teachers are giving individual lessons and leading small groups.

11:30–11:45 a.m. Clean up/group time. Children pack up work and clean the classroom, then join the group for a song or story.

11:45 a.m. Line up. Children collect coats, if needed, then line up to go outside.

11:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m. Outside time.

12:15 p.m. Line up/prepare for lunch. Children line up to go inside and wash hands.

12:15–12:45 p.m. Lunch. Children unpack and eat lunch. When cleaned and packed up, they gather all items, including any work they would like to take home, and read a story or join the group for a song or story.

12:45–1 p.m. Dismissal. Children line up and are escorted to the fence where they are handed off to their parent or guardian.

12:45–3:15 p.m. Rest time, extended day work time, and additional outside time.

3:15 p.m. Dismissal for extended day.

3:15–5:30 p.m. After care.
